What is the difference between the fats?
What are good fats and what are bad fats?
How much fat should I eat?
I bet you have had these thoughts swimming
about in your mind if you read my emails
and
are interested in becoming EMPOWERED
( I love that word) or is it enlightened?
or educated ?
Well, one of those or all 3?
I digress….
I did a talk last night in Bath about Kick Start
and the fat question kept coming up.
It is REALLY hard to get your head around,
when we have been brain washed into thinking,
and believing FAT is bad.
BUT
If you suffer from serious cravings.
If you can’t get food out of your head.
If you suffer from brain fog.
Struggling with lack of energy
All kinds of health niggles like IBS, autoimmune issues, skin problems
arthritis…the list goes on.
I bet you are not getting enough good fats
into your diet on a daily
basis.
Saturated fat is not your enemy.
A review of all the research on saturated fat published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found no correlation between saturated fat and heart disease. As with all fats, quality becomes key here.
Some fats are unhealthy. They include trans fat and inflammatory vegetable oils.
Unfortunately, these fats have increased in our diet as they make us fatter and contribute to inflammation, which plays a role in nearly every chronic disease on the planet.
