Kick Start is launching a new exciting project in the Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire area!
The project is all about training up a selection of the most elite coaches in the area to teach pop up 4 week transformation centres; educating their local communities on nutrition and exercise for health and weight loss. This is one of our biggest projects yet aiming to reach more people with the information they NEED to change their health and mind set.
Today I am introducing to you the coaching team so far… and we are growing by the day!!
Daisy Baugh
Newark
Hi I am Daisy, I am already an instructor, I teach at a day spa so I have to teach pretty much everything – LBT, HIIT, Pump, Fitness yoga, Fitness Pilates, Spin and Step.
I also teach freelance at a couple of gyms around Newark, just spin and Fitness Pilates at the minute but I am looking to build that up and reduce my hours at the day spa, hence looking at teaching KSFL. I have been ETM qualified for around 4 years and a qualified pt for just under 3 years, I started properly teaching regularly around 2 and a half years ago.
I heard about KSFL through word of mouth and did the Fitness Pilates course at Derby and then just had a good nosey around the Choreography to go website and came across more information on it. I think the thing that draws me to it the most is educating people on fat loss, rather than just beasting them in the gym and giving them a rough nutrition guide which they may or may not follow and also the fact that there is so much research into the rest of the factors that affect weight loss, such as hormones. To be fair, I might sound like a bit of a geek but since the Phil Richards book came I have been fascinated!
I will hopefully be launching mid July to give me time to get organised and get confident with all the new facts!
Obviously when I get my group I think the first one will be daunting but judging on how it goes and popular it is I will hopefully want to keep going with new groups. I am really looking forward to actually helping people into a new healthy way of living. I am already loving the learning side of it and want to keep progressing my knowledge so I can keep passing it on to people.
Jane Meer
Swadlincote
I’m a busy mum to 2 boys, aged 12 and 8, I’ve been married to my husband for nearly 13 years.
I’ve been a qualified ETM instructor for 12 years and have taught freestyle aerobics, step, Aqua, fitness pilates and fitness yoga. I currently teach Les Mills Body Balance and low impact aerobics on a regular basis as well as teaching gymnastics, and delivering children’s music and movement for Kimbles, so I have experience of working with all ages.
I have attended some of Rachel’s workshops over the years so heard about KSFL through being a member of Choreography to Go. When I heard about KSFL I knew it was for me, sharing the most up to date nutritional information with the community and supporting them in getting to where they want to be .
I hope to start delivering KSFL in and around the Swadlincote area and will start as soon as I can after the initial training. I’m really looking forward to helping people understand how eating well can make them feel healthier and fitter.

I’m Katie I am a freelance group exercise instructor and personal trainer and mum of two girls. I have great passion for fitness and have been teaching for 13yrs. I also love running.
I heard about KSFL through Choreography to go and can’t wait to get started.
The KSFL classes i will be running will be in North Notts.. Starting in Edwinstowe and would look to September time.
I am looking forward to delivering something new to existing clients and taking them forward or ‘Kick Starting’ their frustrations . I am also looking forward to meeting new clients and watch it all evolve.
Going forward I would like to create a KSFL network and support group where everyone helps each other be the best they can be.
Caroline Grey
Derby City Centre
I am 41 year old working mum and fitness competitor.
I started in the fitness industry 18yrs ago teaching group ex and fitness instructor. Left the industry 12yrs ago and went into something completely different, plus had a family.
3 years ago I decided I wanted my best body pre 40 and invested in a coach and became a stage competitor.
Along side this journey it reignited my passion for fitness and I decided I wanted to pursue this industry again. I have recently re qualified as a personal trainer. I have known of Rachel for many years and have been following the KSFL approach. I have decided to join as an instructor as I now want to focus on helping others in the community with their fat loss goals and help them feel and look better. I hope I can be a huge inspiration to women for them to see that as a mum or working professional they can achieve the body they desire.
My next show is in Sept so I will hopefully be launching a new class in the Derby City Centre area or surrounding Allestree/Quarndon areas from Oct time.
Tabitha Browring
Longeaton
I am an army wife, at home with 2 children and 2 dogs. I teach 13 classes a week ranging from Les Mills to freestyle and HIIT classes. I am also a tutor and assessor for fitness courses and nutrition courses, so life is pretty hectic! When I do get spare time, I usually go out running as I am a keen long distance runner.
I have been teaching for 20 years this year! I teach Les Mills Body Pump and Body Balance, freestyle LBT’s, freestyle aerobics and HIIT. Qualified to teach spin, ante/post natal, kids fitness, barre fusion and fitness pilates.
I heard about KSFL long ago through (from the oracle!) Rachel when I got back into the country after living in Germany and I was really interested in the nutritional information.
My KSFL classes will launch in Long Eaton area as soon as possible once I have done my basic training and I can’t wait to help people learn and change through the course.
I am looking forward to getting everyone excited and talking about how fab it is – leading a new wave through Long Eaton (and Devon when I visit home!)
Natalie Clarke
Ilkeston/Langley Mill
I’m Natalie and I discovered KSFL through taking part in the Nottingham Detox in January. I am not currently an instructor, but I am hoping to train with Rachel and Kelly with a plan to eventually become a Franchisee.
I have a background in dance and musical theatre, and my favourite type of exercise is dance and pilates/yoga. I am hoping for classes in my local area of Aldercar, but am more than happy to cover anywhere in Notts or Derby that needs a KSFL class.
I am most excited about being able to give people the chance to change their lives through KSFL just like I did, and giving them the knowledge to make positive changes to their diet and fitness levels. I think through once being in their shoes I can understand the struggles mentally and physically and can really help support people in getting to where they want to be. My long term plans are to move to Devon before the end of the year and to start a Franchise in that area.
Kirsty Trapp
Heanor/ Ripley
I have been involved in the fitness industry all of my working life…
It started 16years ago as a YTS at a small gym in Ripley- it was a starting point and quite quickly my eyes were opened to the big wide world. It was your typical spit and sawdust gym full of muscly men and little me in the middle of all this.
I stayed there for some years turning a blind eye to all the dodgy goings on just did my job and worked hard to gain a string of qualifications. I trained with focus training and was the youngest person (just 18years old) to complete all of their training courses. I was featured in Health and Fitness magazine for my achievements. I also did my exercise to music with the ymca and more courses besides. I trained with Rachel for fitness Pilates and also Aqua Aerobics. So it paid off getting paid a pittance to serve muscle men protein shakes I did what I did to fund my training and once I’d done it I set off to find a ‘proper’ gym.
Over the years I have worked for Virgin, JJB, David Lloyd, Lady In Leisure, Fitness First, Leisure Centre’s, and most recently Marriott Breadsall Priory. I have also done a lot of work in schools teaching sport and exercise.
My passion will always be group exercise I love freestyle and community classes more than anything it never feels like work. I teach a wide variety of classes although trained in Body Combat and Body Pump I prefer the freestyle stuff and also Pilates.
I am keen to start KSFL I have followed Rachel for a number of years and the idea that its not a diet its lifestyle change is what interested me the most. If I can help people improve their eating habit to enhance their lives then I will be very happy.
I hope to have classes in my local area as I know a lot of people from years of teaching. I hope to start as soon as possible actually can’t wait for Saturday’s training!
