I was looking over the Well and Good online magazine today when I found this fantastic article including a new sort of food pyramid- the anti inflammatory pyramid! Read more to find out what it is all about:

We always talk about anti-inflammatory foods on KSFL and the importance of eating these and cutting out your inflammatory foods whilst on detox.

The pyramid consists of the most beneficial foods at the bottom and the not-so great ones at the top!

The base of the pyramid-Leafy greens and healthy fats

This includes leafy greens, veggies, salmon, walnuts, garlic, turmeric and fermented foods.

The second level- Produce that pulls double duty

The second tier includes beets, ginger, flax and blueberries.

The third level- NO nightshades

This level is about limiting nightshades- tomatoes, peppers, eggplants and potatoes.

The top of the pyramid: The nasties

At the top of the food pyramid are wheat, dairy, sugar, corn, soy, and peanuts. Avoid at all costs!
