Hello
The schools are going back and normal life is slowly resuming after a brilliant summer.
Therefore if you are using today as an opportunity to begin “thinking” about your return to fitness and getting back on the health train I’ve added some simple home workouts you can easily start begin with this week.
For busy people, never quite making the time for a workout becomes the norm. It’s often pushed to the end of the day and a million other things always seem to be much more important, so here are my quick tips for getting your workout in even if you are the busiest person on the planet.
1: Create a workout area at home – A spare room, your bedroom, the garage, a shed, the outside patio…anywhere you can “own” a bit of space.
2: Invest in some basic equipment.
Beg, borrow, steal or find on Amazon or Ebay weights, kettlebell, stability ball, a step, skipping rope, mini band and you are good to go.
3: You need to create as little friction and barriers as possible to your workout so you basically roll out of bed pull on your sports bra and head to your workout space, phone or ipad in hand ready to do a workout for 12 – 15 minutes.
4: You HAVE to push yourself to set your alarm for 20 minutes earlier than normal and get it done.
Establish the habit NOW before the dark mornings set in 🙂
WHY?
By working out early at home you have DONE IT. Whatever the day throws at you, it’s cool, you can walk around with a smug smile thinking…YEP. I’ve done my workout. It’s in the bag.
When you push yourself to exercise it gives you an abundance of self-confidence and a sense of achievement, it really sets you up for the day – mentally and physically.
Personally, I’ve got access to some amazing gyms and I teach lots of classes BUT my favorite place to exercise is at home. In my old comfy unmatching workout gear, super early in the morning when it’s all quiet and no one is about and my son is still fast asleep. I cherish that 20 minutes like nothing else.
If you get chance to do any additional workouts/classes in the day then BRILLIANT see that as a bonus but your early morning home workout is like brushing your hair or having a shower, it becomes your morning nonnegotiable.
Do it for your mental health as well as your physical health.
Elevate High-Performance Coaching – Weightloss and Wellness.
In my opinion, everyone needs a coach. Often, we are so ‘In” our lives and “In” our jobs and businesses we don’t work on our own health and wellness plan.
We “know” what to eat, how to eat, how to exercise, how to train, how important positive thinking and goal setting etc is BUT we can’t seem to apply that knowledge personally and get the results we want.
Why can’t we make it happen?
Because we need a structured programme, an action plan with daily steps, accountability and for someone outside of our immediate circle to see the things we so often cannot.
It can also her very intimidating joining a group, getting a PT or asing for help and guidance.
Therefore, I have created a new online programme designed to elevate your nutrition, weightloss, exercise, fitness, mindset and motivation.
My 3-month Elevate Programme begins tomorrow and if you feel you need a health, nutrition, fitness and mindset overhaul I’d love you to join me CLICK here for all the information.
It’s going to uplevel you in every way.
